Giclée Prints
Giclée pronounced (jhee-clay)
is derived from the French verb gicler, loosely translated
as ‘spray’ or
'squirt’. It
is the name given to the modern process of producing the finest
quality art prints. The Giclée printer is a much larger
and refined
version of your computor printer and it ‘squirts’ between
3 and 4 million microscopic droplets of ink per second onto almost
any material. In the case
of my prints, it will be the finest available archival 190 g.s.m.
stock or quality canvas.
The four Giclée printing colors, cyan, yellow, magenta and
black can produce an almost endless range of color. All my limited
edition
prints
are individually numbered and signed and are accompanied by a narrative
of the events portrayed and a Certificate of Authenticity.
Packaging is undertaken with great care and
charges for this and freight vary with the destination and required
speed of delivery.
